What is it that makes you tick?

For me, it’s the natural world. I love Africa’s wild spaces. The beauty of God’s creation will always have me in awe, from immaculate coastlines to the colossal mountains, but there’ll be no greater passion of mine than the passion I have for the African bush. It’s where I feel at home and at peace, it’s where I learn to be a better person and where I feel a part of a bigger picture.

I love writing about my experiences in the bush, I love sharing my opinions and finding the most beautiful ways to describe and represent the very essence of our being. My love for Africa started when I was a child, and grew exponentially in my adolescent years. Initially I never pursued a life in the bush, until the call of the wild grew too loud to ignore. So this is my life – I am married to an incredible man who shares almost all of my loves and passions. I reside in Hilton, South Africa and have the most exciting playground as far as location is concerned. I am a proud Christian and cannot believe the amazing life I have been blessed with sometimes.
